This class satisfies current NJ Permit to Carry requirements. Students will participate in mandatory, NJ State Police approved, Use of force training and Firearms and safety awareness training. Afterwards, students will qualify with the firearm that they will carry. The shooting qualification mandated by the NJ State Police includes shooting at a maximum distance of 15 yards from a holster. You must pass by hitting at least 40 out of 50 shots (80%). You also must demonstrate safe gun handling during the the qualification. Upon conclusion of this class, you will receive a New Jersey Permit To Carry, Safe Handling And Proficiency In The Use Of Handguns Certifications Form from NJSP. This class will last at least 3 hours.
